This was are second field trip and it was at the Transfer Station in Bemidji. This field trip was very interesting and I learned a lot while I was there. This was very helpful to me because when i get a house here I know where to go if I need to drop off garbage or any kind of material. At the transfer station they try to recycle as much as they can before just throwing it in the garbage. They let anybody in the Beltrami county use there station and they have truck that go and pick up garbage in designated spots all over the county. Overall this field trip was very helpful for me because I learned a lot about what goes on in the transfer station and how they run it and what to with my garbage when I get a house in Bemidji.
